The incredible array of talent and week of Social Media is off to a momentous start. Monday (Day One), we heard from leading experts in the mobile industry on their thoughts and predictions for 2010. With mobile being called the next industry game changer, it was a fitting start to a week where technology coupled with innovation meets creativity and foresight. We also got a taste of the intersection between Real Estate and technology at the Duke of Westinister in Toronto, led by George O’Neil founder of REtechTO.
Tuesday brought back the ultimate in Social Media prowess: Revisiting the roots of the epic and appropriately termed ‘Case Camp.’ One of the most highly anticipated events of the week, Case Camp, the brainchild of Eli Singer, city organizer of #SMW explored some timely and relevant topics with Peter Aceto of ING Direct and Susan Walker of CTV Media. Noel Biderman, Idan Cohen and Bryan Segal closed out this panel.
So what took place today? Plenty. Admist a worldwide crisis in Haiti, the severity and intensity of this current day global crisis, was an important matter to address.
