Research In Motion’s BlackBerry 10 smartphones boast specs that look more like desktops than handsets.
If this Droid Guy spec sheet leak is true, BB10 devices will pack a serious punch. The codenamed “Aristo” model will allegedly sport a lethal quad-core Snapdragon processor that clocks in at an impressive 1.7 GHz.
The device’s massive 4.65-inch touchscreen will use OLED technology and boast a resolution of 1280×720 (a 16:9 resolution). Despite being by far the biggest BlackBerry smartphone display ever, it will apparently also be RIM’s thinnest device yet.
Complementing the beastly processor is 2GB of RAM, well above the going rate for today’s smartphone. With a huge screen and and powerful processing, though, will BB10’s battery life suffer? It’s certainly possible, but the battery is a whopping 2800mAh, which could offset most of the power drain. Then again, LTE connectivity won’t help.
Still, this is solid hardware that should easily handle the software side of things.
