Stopfinder, a Toronto-based parking and transit search service, was founded in January 2008, but it’s already turning heads and getting noticed. The service allows users to enter the address they plan to travel to, along with the time they’ll arrive and how long they’ll be at that location. Stopfinder then not only finds the closest parking lots but also figures out how much they’ll cost, as well as plotting the best transit route. They’ve also released an API so other developers can use their data. Right now the service is only covering Toronto, but the founders have a blog, so you can voice your opinion and get updates should they move forward with services for other cities.
