TalentEgg Hatches Social Career Magazine

Talentegg, a Toronto startup that helps Canadian employers connect with students and recent grads is growing rapidly.  It recently announced the launch of its new social career magazine called The Incubator.  The magazine offers career specific tips, advice and stories written by contributors. The first feature digest deals with finding a job in these tough economic times and is appropriately titled: The Class of 2009: Graduating in a Recession.  They’re also working on a video series with Utours, (still in production) and Talentegg’s Founder, Lauren Friese is actively booking speaker engagements.

…with the addition of The Incubator to the TalentEgg family, we’ve gone from being ‘like a campus career fair, online’ to being ‘like a campus career centre, online’ and with the launch of a media outlet geared at 18-24 year olds (The Incubator), and the launch of our consulting/speaking projects, we’ve gone from being a 1-product company to a 3-product company.

Talentegg is also using now Twitter to feature links to articles, questions, and comments about careers and to get a discussion going about what matters when looking for a job.
