Telus and Rogers Also Confirm They Don’t Use Carrier IQ

Slowly but (somewhat) surely, Canadian consumers are being put at ease over the insane Carrier IQ madness.

Two of Canada’s biggest wireless operators, Telus and Rogers, have both confirmed that they do not install Carrier IQ on any of the devices they sell. Rogers tweeted, “happy to confirm that we have investigated and Carrier IQ is NOT on any of our devices.”

RIM, a Canadian smartphone manufacturer, has also affirmed it does not authorize Carrier IQ on its BlackBerrys.
