The 10 Companies That Canadian Students Want to Work for the Most

Where do graduating students in Canada want to work? LinkedIn conducted some research to find out and produced some interesting results.

According to LinkedIn, Vancouver-born Lululemon is the most desired place for students and recent graduates to work. In second is game developer Ubisoft, and in third Mark Zuckerberg’s social networking behemoth Facebook.

The fourth most desirable workplace for Canadian students is fashion retailer Holt Renfrew, followed by Cossette, Aritzia, and Labatt. Rounding out the top 10 is Nexen, Mosaic, and the CBC.

There are more than 20 million students and recent grads on LinkedIn and they represent the fastest growing demographic on the site. This makes sense considering that 79% of jobs are now posted to at least one social media network, and LinkedIn remains the most popular networks for job hunters and talent seekers alike: a recent survey shows that more than 35% of students plan to use LinkedIn as a primary source for their job search, a 700% increase since 2010.
