The Future of Wireless according to Gerry Chan

Last month WINBC‘s Pacific Northwest Wireless Summit was in Vancouver and Techvibes was a media sponsor. Bruce Sharpe of Singular Productions was their to capture the action on video. He started with a teaser piece that condenses the Best Keynote – Thomas Huseby of Seattle’s SeaPoint Ventures – at the event into two and a half minutes.

Now Sharpe is published the rest the video he captured at the Summit – up first is The Future of Wireless:

Phones made from bamboo, networks of nano robots, RFID biological implants and more. Gerry Chan of the Wireless Research Centre Canada talks about The Future of Wireless in this keynote from the Pacific Northwest Wireless Summit, Jan. 19, 2009.

Sharpe has a busy couple weeks ahead of him. He’s spearheading a grand experiment at Northern Voice this weekend that will see them crowdsourcing video from ALL the sessions and then having it available online – “Think TED, only better.”
