Three More Executives Leaving BlackBerry

Three high-ranked employes of BlackBerry are leaving the struggling company, it’s been revealed.

Rick Costanzo, executive vice-president of global sales, and Chris Wormald, vice-president of strategic alliances, will leave their roles as BlackBerry chairman and interim CEO makes sweeping changes to the company’s executive team. The news was leaked by the Wall Street Journal and then confirmed by BlackBerry. Costanzo and Wormald had both been working at BlackBerry for well over a decade.

A third executive, Mark Cameron, has left the company to work at public relations firm Hill and Knowlton. He joined BlackBerry in 2011 as the company’s director of global public policy.

BlackBerry is currently in the process of laying off more than 4,000 employees, or roughly 40% of its already diminished workforce.
