Canadian Startup TradableBits to Access Getty Images for Facebook Apps

Vancouver’s TradableBits Media has announced a partnership with one of the world’s leading creators and distributors of still imagery to offer its catalog of images.

The exclusive partnership will see users of TradableBits’ suite of Facebook apps get easy access to Thinkstock by Getty Images.

As part of this partnership, TradableBits users now have millions of unique images to choose from and place on their Facebook page’s cover photo, or in polls, slideshows, e-cards or any of the nearly two dozen TradableBits apps. Use of Thinkstock’s images also comes with the company’s standard legal protection, guaranteeing TradableBits users that their license for the Thinkstock image will be protected.

Once logged into their account, a TradableBits user will now be able to thumb through Thinkstock images, select one, license it and effortlessly incorporate it as part of their marketing strategy on their Facebook page.

With this first offering between the two companies now formally announced, TradableBits and Getty Images will continue to work closely together on developing and rolling out additional social apps that will leverage Getty’s rich content across the Facebook platform and beyond.
