Tynt renames product Tynt Insight

Calgary’s Tynt Multimedia has renamed their popular Tracer product Tynt Insight and Tynt Insight Pro.

Why the name change? Tynt came up with the Tracer name when they first launched back in 2008. At that time, the Tracer tool simply tracked copy and paste activity, so the name seemed to fit.

According to a company representative, Tynt Insight is the result of months of work and has taken into account input from the thousands of websites that used the Tynt Tracer beta product.

Tynt Insight and Tynt Insight Pro introduce a handful of new features that help online publishers, website owners and bloggers understand how their visitors are interacting with their content. As a result Tynt promises publishers can learn how to make their most engaging content more visible, drive more visits, and further monetize their site.

As an example of how Insight can drive more traffic, one of the new features is AutoTweet which automatically periodically pushes a snippet of your most engaging content out to the Twitter account of your choice.

For the short-term, all the premium features in Tynt Insight Pro are available for free. So now is a great time to check out Tynt.
