Vancouver Greentech Exchange heads to Discovery Parks

The Vancouver Greentech Exchange (VGE) is happening again in February and for this month only the Exchange will be held at Discovery Parks Vancouver at 887 Great Northern Way. For good reason though – this month’s topic is Building Sustainability – The Discovery Parks Model with Discovery Parks Trust Executive Director and CEO Mark Betteridge and Discovery Parks Director of Development and Leasing Tom Douglas.

Tom Douglas and Mark Betteridge from Discovery Parks will give their experiences and views about what this means technically, physically, financially and in human terms. They will address energy management, water usage, air quality, light control, construction methods and materials, corporate responsibility, market pressures and human resource management in this two-part presentation.

The VGE is a monthly networking and learning event. Regular VGE features are a presentation, pitches from Greentech entrepreneurs and networking with various professionals, investors, government representatives, peers and more.

Each VGE also includes the Elevator Pitch Contest where selected entrepreneurs present a three-minute pitch in front of the audience. The contest winner receives 10 minutes to present at the next VGE. Application for this contest is included during registration.

The Discovery Parks event takes place on Thursday, February 18th from 5:30pm – 8:00pm. The event is free but please register online.
