Vancouver to Host GM of Reddit, Erik Martin, for Discussion on Galvanizing Community

The general manager of Reddit is coming to Vancouver next month.

Erik Martin will be on Railway Street in Vancouver at the Work at Play Studios on December 5 from 10am to 12pm for an exclusive talk on the ins and outs of managing a healthy online community.

Today, online communities are an essential part of a brand’s experience. Filled with passionate people who share common interests, communities are a boundless opportunity for brands to form connections, gain insights and glean inspiration from their fans and customers. However, as most community managers and marketers know, nurturing and maintaining a healthy online community is not without its challenges.

Tickets are $20 and all proceeds go toward Extra Life, a charity gaming event in support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and Work at Play says it will match all money raised through ticket sales. 30 tickets will be sold in total.
