Vancouver’s Greenscape invests online

Vancouver’s Greenscape Capital is a forward-thinking eco-luxury company that identifies and invests in companies in the consumer market and they’ve turned their attention to the Web with a $1.3 Million investment in White Cat Media. White Cat Media is the parent company of and and the company plans to use the funds to build a network of sites on the model (BrideFinds, MaternityFinds, etc.).

Greenscape has been on an investment rampage over the last couple months with the acquisition of Lela Designs womens golf wear, an 20% investment in bath and body retailer Open Sundaes, and the acquisiton of Contemporary Ocean Products (Vancouver restauranteur Harry Kambolis’ retail collection). In additon, they have launched Trophy Wife – an eco-friendly clothing brand aimed at the upscale fashion segment of the women’s clothing market.

Greenscape’s current portfolio of companies is set to benefit their investment in White Cat Media – the profitable online marketing company is located in New York City and will serve as a significant marketing tool to drive sales in the other brands.
