Vancouver’s St. Regis Hotel launches Canada’s First Guest iPad Program

Complimentary high-speed Internet, in-room and throughout public spaces, is one of the St. Regis Hotel‘s most popular rate inclusions and it just got a lot more fun with the hotel’s new iPad program.

Starting immediately, guests will be able to use one of the hotel’s Apple iPads to surf, search, read and even play games, whether in the hotel or out and about in the city.

London’s affluent Berkeley Hotel appears to be the first hotel to include an iPad in select rooms but those started at $2,800 per night. Rates at the St. Regis Hotel start at $99 per night.

“The versatility and portability of the iPad combines so well with our high-speed hotel wireless that it was a natural extension of our existing guest services,” said St. Regis Hotel General Manager Jeremy Roncoroni. “Plus, the iPad really is the coolest gadget in the world and we’re just as excited as our guests to use them.”

iPads will be available to guests at the front desk on a first-come, first-served basis.
