Kitchener’s Vidyard is hosting a Tech Startup Recruiting event on Thursday, September 19 at the Chainsaw Saloon.
This is a free event for both students and startups. And if you’re a student, you should consider working for a startup.
Working for a startup gives you the opportunity to manage your own tasks, watch your deliverables hit the market and be in an awesome environment. Many of the startups attending have positions to fill and are looking for students to join their team. So come out to Chainsaw to learn more about the companies and what they have to offer.
Vidyard will be presenting their popular live coding challenge where the winner will be offered an internship/co-op job on the spot.
Register online to attend.
The event is also free for startups (with four employees or more) that are looking to hire a University of Waterloo or Wilfrid Laurier University co-op students for a software engineering or development role. And its a a great way for you to meet potential candidates and increase your brand exposure while enjoying the free poutine and drinks.
To register or for more information, contact Erin Klassen of Vidyard by email.
