Virgin Mobile is giving Mobile TV a makeover. The company says it is revamping its product to add “innovative features” for Canadians such as the ability to browse content while watching a show and creating custom alerts to remind you of upcoming content.
“Mobile TV has been a great addition to our Virgin Mobile line-up, but now the experience is getting even better for Android and iOS users. There’s no excuse for missing your fave moments on TV now,” said Andrew Bridge, Managing Director, Virgin Mobile Canada. “Members have the power of prime time right in the palm of their hand. I’ve already programmed my week on Mobile TV with alerts for Grimm, The Voice and Whitney.”
Virgin’s new Mobile TV app is available on iTunes and Google Play. Same as Bell, this offering costs five dollars for five hours of content consumption (seperate of your data plan).
