Wavefront helps BC Businesses explore Japanese Wireless Opportunities

Japan is one of the world’s top mobile markets with 112 million mobile subscribers and generating $71.5B in revenues. Vancouver’s Wavefront wants to help BC businesses tap into that market.

Wavefront has invited representatives from the Mobile Computing Promotion Consortium (MCPC) to Canada to present Japanese wireless market opportunities and trends including tips for Japanese market entry, design tips for Japanese localization and how to take advantage of MCPC’s powerful mobile connections.

Wavefront’s WaveGuide Seminar titled MCPC & Japanese Wireless Market Opportunities takes place on June 21st from 8:30am – 11:30am at Discovery Parks Vancouver.

The MCPC has 168 member firms representing the top wireless operators and device manufacturers including NTT DOCOMO, KDDI, SOFTBANK, Sharp, Fujitsu, Casio Computer and NEC. This is a must-attend event if you are considering expansion into Japan with your wireless product/service – few selected companies will have opportunity for one-on-one coaching sessions.

MCPC representatives will be in Vancouver from June 21st -23rd to launch Wavefront’s 2010 MCPC Mobile Exchange Program – a two-phase program connecting Canadian wireless companies to the Japanese mobile market.

MCPC & Japanese Wireless Market Opportunities is phase 1 and phase 2 of the program will see BC businesses getting the opportunity to exhibit at 2010 MCPC Solutions Fair in Tokyo in November 2010.
