Richmond Hill’s WebsiteBox announced last week that it has signed up 5,000 new customers for its real estate websites during its first year in business.
Since demand for the $99 websites surged during the company’s first 12 months post-launch, WebsiteBox CEO Peyman Aleagha this week announced the company’s decision to enlist Amazon’s cloud hosting platform to handle expansion.
WebsiteBox “has exceeded all expectations” in its mission to provide realtors with the technology they need to grow their businesses, according to the startup.
“Once [customers] discover all that we give them for a one-time fee of only $99, they figure making the switch is a no-brainer,” Aleagha says. “There’s no reason for our customers to hesitate.”
WebsiteBox is a graduate of Markham’s ventureLAB.
