Angelhack, the world’s largest hackathon by most measures, is coming to Canada on December 1st.

To be hosted in the Burroughes Building in downtown Toronto, the two-day global event will see Canadians compete against rivals in 10 other cities around the world, including Paris and London. Six out of the 10 cities are in the US. No other country has more than one city participating.

Judges for the Canadian component of Angelhack include serial entrepreneur Dan Martell, founder of Clairty.fm, and Andy Yang of Extreme Startups. The event will see hundreds of Toronto developers connect for a 24-hour coding competition involving 2,500 hackers across 11 cities around the globe.

Prizes for the hackathon add up to about $650,000 worth. Canadians can learn more about the event on Angelhack’s Eventbrite page.
