Below are some of her wine pairing suggestions for Twitter, Facebook, and Google +.
Twitter: Perhaps something low in alcohol, like the 2009 Lingenfelder Bird Label Riesling from Australia is the best bet. Natalie says this “will allow you to Tweet all evening while you drink it.” However, please drink and Tweet at your own risk. Here’s a link to the funniest drunk Tweets by comedians from the Huffington Post.
Facebook: Natalie suggests that you can toast Zuckerberg’s success with Mark West’s Pinot Noir from California.
Google +: Try Union from Ontario, because Natalie believes Google + will bring us all together in a meaningful way.
Here’s the video, so you can get the complete list of her social media wine pairing suggestions.
Anyone else have a good wine suggestion to go with social media? You can check out more of Natalie’s wine pairing suggestions on her mobile app, or on her website. Her video blog is the first online food and wine pairing show in Canada.
Natalie also just launched a new book entitled Unquentiable. In praise of her book, Gary Vaynerchuck, another popular social media personality, author of The Thank-You Economy and host of WineLibraryTV, says “there are very few people in the wine world that I think “get it” and Natalie is one of those people that brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.”
In October and November 2011, she’ll host wine-soaked book readings in cities including: Whistler, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Toronto, Kelowna/Okanagan, Calgary, Grimsby/Niagara, Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax. Details can be found at www.nataliemaclean.com. Cheers!
