Toronto-headquartered EnStream announced today the launch of the Zoompass mobile application for Android powered phones, now available for free download on Android Market and at zoompass.mobi. This completes their suite of applications supporting the leading mobile platforms – BlackBerry, iPhone and now Android.
According to Robin Dua, President of EnStream, the Android launch re-affirms the vision that all Canadians will eventually use Zoompass as their mobile wallet, irrespective of their mobile phone of choice.
In 2009, EnStream launched the Zoompass mobile application and began offering Canadians the first version of a mobile wallet. Zoompass already allows users to send money quickly and securely to friends and family and takes advantage of the newest technologies of Android powered phones to provide an outstanding user experience. With the ability to run applications simultaneously, friends can now “Zoom” each other without having to close other applications.
EnStream is a joint venture company owned by Canada’s three leading national wireless operators – Bell Mobility, Rogers Communications Inc., and TELUS Corporation.
