In fact, they&#8217;re arguably leading the way with the launch of their&nbsp;iPhone Apps, which are available for free in the App Store. The apps were developed by Vancouver-based <a href=\"http:\/\/www.atimi.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Atimi<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>These new apps offer customers access to all the latest products and deals, essentially placing a virtual shop in the hands of Canadian iPhone and iPod Touch users.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&#8220;Mobile retail presents a significant opportunity for companies to tap into the needs of their customers, and increasingly mobile is at the top of those needs,&rdquo; says&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.atimi.com\/page\/meet-team\" target=\"_blank\">Scott Michaels<\/a>, Vice President of Atimi. &ldquo;Developing the Best Buy Canada &amp; Future Shop iPhone Apps meant creating a user-friendly design and interface to help increase customer satisfaction and sales.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;Features of the Best Buy Canada &amp; Future Shop iPhone Apps include browsing or searching product inventory, seeing product specs, ratings, reviews, etc., and using geo-location to locate nearby Best Buy or Future Shop stores. App users will also be able to select and purchase items through the Mobile Checkout &ldquo;Ship to Home&rdquo; feature, and share content through Twitter, Facebook, and email.
