GoDaddy.com is now certified by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cira.ca\">Canadian Internet Registration Authority<\/a> (CIRA) and is in the final stages of developing their\u00a0.CA registration process.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to their controversial and frequently banned\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=3BeDyr_GS-U\" target=\"_blank\">Super Bowl television ads<\/a>,\u00a0Canadians are very familar with GoDaddy.com and the company\u00a0already have a strong and loyal customer base North of the border for .COM domains. Low-cost Canadian registrars should start to worry.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>GoDaddy.com will kick off its entry into the Canadian market by sponsoring the TSN television broadcast of the NASCAR Napa Auto Parts 200 on August 2nd in Montreal. Canadian driver Ron Fellows will race the #5 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet.<\/p>\n<p>GoDaddy&#8217;s Toronto office\u00a0currently has one employee, Adam Dicker,\u00a0and Canadian\u00a0customer support will be\u00a0handled through their US call centres. Those who follow the domain industry will recognize Dicker&#8217;s name\u00a0&#8211; he was recently <a href=\"http:\/\/tech.slashdot.org\/article.pl?sid=08\/06\/29\/0625249&amp;from=rss\" target=\"_blank\">called out for bidding against customers<\/a> in GoDaddy.com domain auctions.
