{"id":57796,"date":"2014-08-29T05:08:00","date_gmt":"2014-08-29T01:08:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/?p=57796"},"modified":"2014-08-28T02:08:19","modified_gmt":"2014-08-28T10:08:19","slug":"centrilogic-acquisition","status":"publish","type":"magazine","link":"https:\/\/brainstation.io\/magazine\/centrilogic-acquisition","title":{"rendered":"CentriLogic Makes Third Acquisition in 18 Months to Expand Cloud Footprint"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 11px 33px; float: right;\" src=\"https:\/\/farm6.staticflickr.com\/5592\/15066384042_497f35cee4_o.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"100\" \/>CentriLogic has acquired Adveniat Corporation, a US Virgin Islands data center operator and hosting services provider.<\/p>\n<p><!-- pagebreak --><\/p>\n<p>For the Toronto-based CentriLogic, a provider of cloud and advanced IT outsourcing solutions, its the company&#8217;s third acquisition in 18 months.<\/p>\n<p>Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but a source suggests the value of the transaction rests in the single-digit millions.<\/p>\n<p>Through the acquisition of Adveniat, the Canadian company now has nine data centers in seven markets across North America, the United Kingdom, Asia&mdash;and, of course, the Virgin Islands.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;With a state-of-the-art data center and fiber connectivity in the USVI, we can now directly support customers who are looking for both reliable managed hosting solutions and significant income tax savings,&#8221;&nbsp;says Robert Offley, CEO of CentriLogic.<\/p>\n<p>The USVI is an increasingly attractive hosting destination for e-commerce companies because it offers up to a 90 percent reduction in income tax liability on qualifying revenues harmonized to US Treasury Department regulations.
