It\u00a0also incorporates restaurant ratings, reviews and photos from Yelp.<\/p>\n<p class=\"m_8291804493532730908m_-3863283232610499874normal\">Feed Me\u00a0was created to help users quickly find nearby restaurants and make a decision on where to go fast. With a\u00a0swiping interface, the app\u00a0wants to turn looking for a place to eat\u00a0from an often frustrating task\u00a0into a\u00a0convenience.<\/p>\n<p class=\"m_8291804493532730908m_-3863283232610499874normal\">\u201cThe goal is to make reading the reviews fun even if you\u2019re not hungry, like when you\u2019re waiting for the bus or metro or at home on the couch,&#8221; said Watson, who wrote more than 1,500 Montreal reviews for the app.<\/p>\n<p class=\"m_8291804493532730908m_-3863283232610499874normal\">Watson also self-funded the beta version of Feed Me\u00a0before receiving startup financing from\u00a0Futurpreneur Canada\u00a0and the\u00a0BDC\u00a0for development.<\/p>\n<p class=\"m_8291804493532730908m_-3863283232610499874normal\">Feed Me\u00a0can also be used to search for take-out, food delivery, grocery stores and even butcher shops. Favourites are saved into a top 10 list while rejects are cycled back into rotation for future searches.<\/p>\n<p class=\"m_8291804493532730908m_-3863283232610499874normal\">First launched in Canada, the Montreal-based app includes thousands of food-offering joints in over 30 countries.
