From facilitating communication between engineering and design teams to relaying customer needs, Product Managers oversee the product lifecycle from ideation to execution.

Senior Product Manager

Daniel Patricio is a Senior Product Manager leading the Merchant Marketing team at Shopify. His primary goal is building tools to make marketing easier for merchants. Previously he founded a digital strategy agency, bootstrapped a SaaS startup and lead product strategy at Jet Cooper which was acquired by Shopify in 2013. An entrepreneur to his core, Daniel also runs an online store - Bull and Cleaver - selling 'Biltong' South African beef jerky.

Product

Peter began his career in the world of telecommunications where he had the opportunity to work in various groups from pricing to content acquisition. He then joined Wave to help small business owners better manage their finances and cashflow, and most recently, joined Planswell to provide access and transparency to financial planning for consumers all over the world. 
 
His passion lies in trying to understand the enigma of consumer behaviour and he loves hearing how others have incorporated behavioural psychology in their products.
