BC’s 2014 Technology Award Winners Announced

Close to 1,000 people from the technology and business community converged at the Vancouver Convention Centre last night to celebrate the successes of BC’s top technologies, companies and individuals.

The 2014 Technology Impact Awards were awarded to the following companies and people:

  • Company of the Year – Fortinet
  • Emerging Company of the Year – QuickMobile
  • Most Promising Startup – PHEMI Health Systems
  • Most Promising Pre-Commercial Technology – UrtheCast
  • Person of the Year – David Demers, CEO of Westport Innovations
  • Adoption of Technology – FCV Technologies and WorkBC
  • Community Engagement – Traction on Demand
  • Excellence in Product Innovation – CoolEdge Lighting
  • Team of the Year – Schneider Electric
