Bootup hosts Future of Web and Mobile Gaming event

To kick off the launch of the Vancouver Unity Users Group, in partnership with Unity Technologies is inviting all local game, web, and iPhone developers to a Unity Networking TGIF event on Friday July 24th to discuss the Future of Web and Mobile Gaming.

The entire initiative will be framed within a “web-ready” context, exploring how tools like Unity 3D in combination with a new breed of social gaming hives are enabling developers to create, market, and monetize console-like browser content for a growing audience of online and mobile gamers.

The TGIF Event is on July 24th at District 319 on Main Street with the reception, drinks and appetizers staring at 5:30pm followed by a keynote and Q&A with Unity Evangelist Tom Higgins of San Francisco.

Admission is $20 and includes a free drink, food and chance to win a Unity 3D License. Register online with discount code “UnityTechvibes” to get in for half price.

This is the second event in the Bootup Entrepreneurial Society’s (BES) series of International Mentor Program (IMP) series of events.
