If you’re looking for advice on how to build a hyper-growth startup, starting with the president of the world’s most renowned accelerator is probably a decent place to start.
Although not immensely engaging in his style of presentation, YC president Sam Altman delivers a lecture of dense, valuable content for aspiring and seasoned entrepreneurs alike. Both part one and, now, part two are available on YouTube in video form or on Genius in written form.
“One thing that often disrupts momentum and really shouldn’t is competitors,” Altman notes during the lecture. “Competitors making noise in the press probably crushes a company’s momentum more often than any other external factor. Don’t worry about a competitor at all, until they’re actually beating you with a real, shipped product.”
