Unity Award receives over 200 Nominations, Winners Announced

Unite 10, a 3 day long conference following the Montreal Game Expo from November 10-12, had its popular community award ceremony last night.

Unity is best known as the publisher of a set of software development tools that allow developers to publish to many different gaming platforms at the same time, such as simultaneously releasing content for the iPhone and Android platforms. Created as a way to celebrate and recognize the most innovative content published on this popular cross-platform 3d engine, the Unity Awards had over 200 nominations in 5 categories this year.

The winners are:

  • Grand Prix: Air Attack HD by ILP

Unity also created a Rising Star program, offering development workstations with full licenses of the Unity platform programs. The three winners are Uncanny Games, Exit Strategy Entertainment, and Gregor Falk.
