Wmode Acquires Enterprise Software Company NeoSystems

Wmode, a provider of app ecosystem solutions and services for cars, TVs, connected devices, and enterprises, announced today the acquisition of NeoSystems, an operations management solutions provider.

Wmode and NeoSystems, Alberta-based tech companies, are capitalizing on the growing demand for enterprise operations solutions that can be utilized across mobile devices and tablets. The acquisition builds on the 2012 launch of Wmode’s enterprise mobility group, increasing its ability to provide scalable solutions and managed services to the growing mobile enterprise market.

NeoSystems was founded in 1992 by David Fettig.

“David and his team have been great innovators in supporting their customers’ needs in operational management,” said Emanuel Bertolin, CEO of Wmode. “The combination of our companies gives further depth in mobile expertise to NeoSystems and accelerates Wmode’s expansion in enterprise markets.”

NeoSystems will be led by Wmode’s senior vice president of enterprise mobility solutions, Trevor Nimegeers.

“I am excited about the next phase of NeoSystems growth and being able to leverage the Wmode organization to serve many more customers,” said Fettig, who will continue to be an integral part of the NeoSystems leadership team.
