BrainStation Partners With CareerSource to Offer Eligible Florida Students Full Scholarships
BrainStation has partnered with CareerSource to offer eligible Florida residents full scholarships towards bootcamps to start a career in tech.

Miami, FL — BrainStation, the global leader in digital skills training, has expanded its industry-leading scholarship program with a new Miami Tech Scholarship, providing aspiring tech professionals in Florida with up to $5,000 in education funding.
All Florida residents are eligible to apply for the Miami Tech Scholarship, which is designed to support the burgeoning Miami tech sector by increasing access to BrainStation’s award-winning bootcamps in UX design, web development and software engineering.
“Since 2012, BrainStation has awarded more than $2 million in scholarship funding, empowering thousands of professionals around the world with digital skills training,” said Johana Mikkola, VP and General Manager of BrainStation Miami. “We’re very proud and excited to be expanding our successful scholarship program into Florida and Miami, which has one of the fastest-growing and most dynamic tech ecosystems in the world. The sky is truly the limit when it comes to Miami tech and we want to be able to support that growth.”
Miami’s tech industry has turned into a new global hub for the digital economy over the last few years, and it continues to grow rapidly. Demand for digital skills, however, remains greater than the supply of qualified employees, and that skills gap is growing. In fact, the World Economic Forum estimates that emerging technologies will generate 133 million new jobs in the next year, with more than half of all employees requiring significant reskilling.
To prepare the workforce for these opportunities, BrainStation offers part-time and full-time bootcamps, both online and in-person at its campuses in Miami, New York, London, and Toronto, among others. The bootcamps include a comprehensive Career Services program with ongoing career guidance and support, including resume writing and job applications, personal branding, interview preparation, and more.
