Charla Pereira is a senior designer for Microsoft, currently working on Microsoft HoloLens. She has been innovating with technology for 20 years professionally and in love with experimentation and storytelling from early childhood. Her first works were creating for both paper and 2D screens in the startup days of the internet for clients such as The Jackson 5 and The Air National Guard, she was one of the first to bring 3D games and interfaces to the internet.


Matt Grant started his career in multimedia in 2002 as a camera operator for a local news channel in his native New Zealand. After visiting Vancouver he fell in love with the city and has lived here since. Partnering with Leon Ng, Matt co-founded the the Real Estate Channel television network in 2005 and was a founding Principal at LNG Studios shortly after in 2009. Since then Matt has been the creative force behind the company, bridging the gaps between real estate marketing, technology and multimedia production. 

Executive Director of Vancouver Economic Commission Film and Media Centre, Nancy Mott works strategically to grow the screen-based industry for the City of Vancouver. Included in her portfolio are film, television, visual effects and animation, games and interactive entertainment. Additionally, Nancy is a VR/AR Association Vancouver Advisor and promotes the City of Vancouver as a world-class destination for business opportunities and a city where industry talent can thrive in the screen-based entertainment sector.

Eric Hine has been the Executive Producer for over 2 years at Archiact VR, one of the largest VR and AR content providers in the world. He helped teams build and published 14 products on almost every VR and AR platform. He has been developing games for over 12 years professionally. Eric’s roles as Lead Designer and Producer at PopCap Games, Product Manager at DeNA, and Associate Producer at Electronic Arts have made him a key leader in the gaming and entertainment industries.
