Join us for an evening with Andrii Olefirenko, Senior Software Engineer at Meta, as he explores what it truly takes to move AI from prototype to production. Andrii will share lessons from building systems that operate at scale, beyond demos and experiments, into real-world environments.
Many AI pilots never make it to production. Drawing from his experience engineering large-scale systems, Andrii Olefirenko will break down the infrastructure, reliability, and organizational alignment required to ship AI that performs under real-world constraints. From edge devices to enterprise teams, this session explores how AI becomes operational, not just experimental.
Andrew Olefirenko
Senior Software Engineer
Andrii Olefirenko is a Senior Software Engineer at Reality Labs at Meta, where he builds AI-powered systems that operate at the intersection of hardware, software, and machine learning. His work focuses on shipping production-grade AI infrastructure that enables real-time, context-aware experiences in emerging computing platforms.
Previously, Andrii was a Software Development Engineer at Amazon Web Services, contributing to large-scale distributed systems and cloud infrastructure. With a background spanning NLP, computer vision, and DevOps, he brings a systems-level perspective to what it takes to move AI from experimentation to scalable, real-world deployment.
Exclusive Event
Event Overview
Shipping AI is harder than building a demo. Andrii Olefirenko shares what it takes to move from prototype to production, design reliable systems under hardware and latency constraints, and align teams to scale AI responsibly.
01
The Evolution of Agentic Systems
Understand how AI is moving from reactive chat interfaces to autonomous systems capable of planning and executing tasks. Explore the architectural implications of memory, orchestration, tool use, and control loops in modern agentic workflows.
02
From Prototype to Production
Learn why most AI pilots stall and what is required to ship successfully. From infrastructure and monitoring to evaluation and runtime reliability, discover the components necessary to deploy AI systems beyond experimentation.
03
AI at the Edge
Explore what changes when AI runs inside physical devices. Examine how engineers balance latency, power efficiency, hardware constraints, and user experience when deploying multimodal, agentic systems in real-world environments.
