Accelerator Centre graduates four companies – one to Zynga?
Waterloo’s Accelerator Centre celebrated its fifth anniversary yesterday with the graduation of four more companies – Client Outlook, PerspecSys, Bayalink and Homick Labs.
Client Outlook, which provides a way for doctors to easily call up medical images on a computer or tablet device, recently moved into new offices in Waterloo. PerspecSys, a company that allows companies to leverage cloud applications without worrying about privacy or security regulations, now has new headquarters in Bolton.
Meanwhile, Bayalink, which made BlackBerry and Playbook products for Research In Motion, and Homick Labs, which was making mobile applications, are winding down operations after finding successful exit strategies.
According to the Waterloo Record, the founders of Homick and Bayalink are not at liberty to announce what happened to their companies but there have been tweets congratulating Homick Labs on joining Zynga.
This seems to have been confirmed with founder Duane Homick now listed on Linkedin as a senior engineering manager at Zynga.
