Founded earlier this year by Christian MacLean, Victoria MacLean, Rick Cotter and Cory Smith, BeauCoo is a new platform designed to connect women of similar body types to share style and store information, earn real-world rewards and to improve their overall shopping experience.
For a platform that has yet to launch, the startup and its founders have had quite the year already. In March their mobile development shop Decoder was acquired and the four founders decided to branch off and undertake BeauCoo.
Readers that have attended Vancouver’s GROW Conference in the last 2 years will recognize Cory Smith’s swagger and voice thanks to his startup rap performances [video].
The BeauCoo team is currently operating with a core team of 6 (with an industry defying 50/50 male to female ratio at present) but continue to work closely on a strategic level with Decoder.
Look for BeauCoo to launch officially next month and ladies, sign up now if you’re interested in being a beta tester.
