Breather Lands Corporate Travel Deal with Air Canada
A new partnership between Breather and Air Canada is taking off.
The Montreal-based company will offer exclusive rates and access to select Breather spaces to members of the airline’s Corporate Rewards program.
Breather has a network of more than 500 short-term meeting rooms in 10 cities in Canada, the U.S. and England. The market for quiet workspaces geared towards business travellers is expected to grow as the worldwide mobile workforce is forecasted to soar to 1.87 billion people by 2020.
“One of the main pain points for the mobile workforce is finding a dedicated and comfortable workspace that’s convenient to their location when travelling,” said Jim Hite, VP of sales at Breather, in a release.
“We saw a gap in the market and we’re excited to be able to provide members of Air Canada’s program with a solution that is flexible, easily accessible and available across major markets,” he added.
Members of Air Canada’s Corporate Rewards program will have access to Breather-specific perks including a dedicated booking assistant and account manager, room discounts, and group billing and invoicing. The program is offered for flyers booking with Air Canada and Lufthansa Group carriers.
“Our partnership with Breather allows us to provide our members with exclusive access to services and discounts at Breather spaces in 10 cities, helping to optimize their business travel experience,” said Robert Trudeau, the senior director of corporate and business development sales at Air Canada.
Founded in 2012, Breather has nearly doubled their pay-per-use spaces in the past years.
