Fitplan App Launches, Aims to ‘Change the Future of Fitness’

A new app looks to change the fitness game by bringing workouts from major influencers to consumers’ fingertips.

The Vancouver-based startup, called Fitplan, provides users with everything from workout videos to nutrition plans in order to create an interactive and customized experience.

“Fitplan users will have access to interactive training, tips and expertise directly from some of today’s top athletes and fitness icons,” said Landon Hamilton, a cofounder. “The app offers a personal trainer-type experience, all available directly from the mobile phones we carry with us on a daily basis.”

Fitplan plans to go beyond workouts by providing users with diet plans, cooking videos, recipes and a calorie tracker to ensure users are making the most of their training.

“The possibilities with Fitplan are limitless we anticipate it will draw users ranging from beginners and fitness enthusiasts, to aspiring athletes and even sports stars who want extra training courtesy of the fitness stars they admire,” said Cam Speck, a cofounder.

Fitplan has secured partnerships with fitness influencers, including Jen Selter (28 million social media followers) and Michelle Lewin (16 million followers), and “other elite athletes, fitness models, fitness coaches and trainers.”

The subscriber-based app will offer a free version and a full version for $10 per month.
