Public Mobile appoints Francois Duffar chairman; ‘his expertise provides a real voice for Quebec’
Canadian wireless startup Public Mobile recently announced that Francois Duffar has been appointed chairman of its board of directors. Francois is the former President of the Cossette Group.
“Monsieur Duffar has led an exceptional career in the communications industry in Canada and has a great knowledge of wireless customers in Canada. Francois has been an advisor to many corporate leaders around the world and I’m very fortunate to have him as my Chairman,” said Alek Krstajic, CEO of Public Mobile.
Continued Alek, “Public Mobile is the only new entrant to offer service in both Quebec and Ontario, and François recognizes that each province has a distinct identity. His expertise provides a real voice for Quebec.”
Francois is currently chairman and CEO of Navilon Inc., a private investment company, and president of Cosmos Capital. Francois was designated ‘Nouveau Performant’ in 1990 (a management performance award). In 2006, Francois was inducted into the Marketing Hall of Legends.
