Six Canadian Startups Head to New York City to Join Technology Accelerator
Six Canadian startups are headed to General Assembly this month. Part of an initiative by the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service, these Canadian companies will be placed in the brand new Canadian Technology Accelerator in New York City, the first project of its kind.
“The Canadian Trade Commissioner Service is pleased to launch a first ever Canadian Technology Accelerator (CTA) initiative in New York City, a hot-bed for technology entrepreneurship and world capital for advertising, media, commerce, and innovation,” a statement reads.
Toronto’s Engagio is one of the six startups, which were required to be “product-ready with high growth potential.” The others have not yet been revealed.
