Vancouver teen entrepreneur raises $4 Million more for Kiip
Vancouver’s Brian Wong just announced a $4 million Series A round for his San Francisco based startup Kiip.
The round was lead by Omniture investor Hummer Windblad and includes True Ventures and Crosslink Capital. Hummer’s Lars Leckie and True Venture’s Phil Black will be joining the Kiip board.
According to Wong, the funds will be used for hiring and for building out the platform and product. While Kiip is still in stealth mode, Wong promises to reveal its plans at AdTech next week.
Wong made news last summer after raising $200K for Kiip as a 19 year-old and was named the world’s youngest-ever entrepreneur to raise venture investment money.
