Vidyard Unveils New Features and Improvements
Vidyard has launched two new features aimed at making the company a premier destination for leisure and business video distribution.
GoVideo is a revamped version of Vidyard’s successful ViewedIt feature and makes it even easier for professionals and organizations to create, share and track videos within the tools they use every day. GoVideo boasts more than 130,000 users in over 100 countries, as many businesses are learning video is the best way to embrace customers and colleagues alike.
“Video is the most powerful way to connect and communicate, but it’s still too difficult and largely inaccessible for the average business professional,” says Michael Litt, co-founder and CEO at Vidyard. “We’re making it easy for anyone to capture and share personal video messages and screen recordings from within their application of choice. We’re helping end users and businesses go video in a way that simply connects with how they do business today.”
You can now easily create videos and screen captures, send GIFs, share videos through your most commonly used apps like Gmail or YouTube and track all the data from whoever watches your creation.
The business facing version is called GoVideo Enterprise and gives employees access to video libraries, tracks viewer insights, enhances content with overlays and secures internal-videos to make sure only the right clientele has access.
The GoVideo Partner Ecosystem is the second new feature, acting as a plugin to power video experiences for marketing and customer experience apps like Bolstra, Drift, Engagio, Uberflip and WorkRamp.
“We enable solution providers to add video capture, sharing and tracking capabilities to their existing apps via a turnkey, no-cost solution,” says Litt. “Together with our partner ecosystem, we’re helping businesses go video in a way that simply connects with how they do business today.”
The plugin is free and lets business communications upgrade the way they handle sales, marketing, customer success and employee development.
The new features build on Vidyard’s already solid platform and allow the video-streaming to be naturally implemented into services that needed a visual element. Forbes has stated that 80 per cent of all web traffic will be video-based by 2019, and adding a video to your marketing email improves click-through rates by 200-300 per cent.
