With Latest Milestone, Vidyard Leads Way as Video Messaging App for Business
Kitchener’s Vidyard, a provider of video solutions for business, announced this week that it has surpassed 100,000 users of ViewedIt, the company’s video messaging app.
Those users, who span more than 100 countries, use ViewedIt to record, share and track personal video messages.
“Video now represents 73% of all internet traffic and has emerged as the most impactful way to communicate in both our personal and business lives,” says Michael Litt, CEO of Vidyard, citing data from Cisco.
The Canadian company’s service provides a wide range of video-based communications for professionals in marketing, sales, support, and more.
“Video is much more engaging than text-based communications, and it inspires immediate action,” adds Litt. “We built ViewedIt to put the power of video into the hands of everyone across the business, and I couldn’t be more excited to see how the community is embracing personal video messaging as a better way to communicate and share their ideas.”
ViewedIt allows for sharing across Gmail, Outlook, and all major social networks. Users can track who’s watched their videos and how long they tuned in, giving them insight into how their content is being consumed.
And for those who can’t think of ways to leverage the technology, Vidyard published a post that offers 50 ways to utilize video messaging in a business context.
ViewedIt by Vidyard is free to download.
