Exclusive Event
AI Evenings LDN:How Rightmove Is Using AI to Transform the Moving Experience
Rightmove has access to one of the richest property datasets in the UK, spanning listings, imagery, and user behaviour. In this session, Jeremy and Athina break down how those data assets power real AI-driven product capabilities, helping identify potential vendors, predict mover intent, and surface more relevant homes faster.
Beyond the models, this conversation explores what it takes to move AI from experimentation to impact. Attendees will hear lessons from adoption, business outcomes, and how Rightmove balances innovation, trust, and scale, plus a look ahead at where the next wave of AI value is emerging in the property market.
Jeremy du Plessis
Senior Machine Learning Engineer
Jeremy is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Rightmove. He holds an MSc in Machine Learning, specialising in Deep Reinforcement Learning. Before joining Rightmove, Jeremy was a founding MLE at a California-based, GenAI-first startup, where he helped scale a consumer product to tens of thousands of users. He joined Rightmove as its first MLE to build the platforms and systems that enable teams to develop, deploy, and scale both classical ML and generative AI applications.
Athina Konstantinou
Data Scientist
Nana is a Data Scientist at Rightmove. After completing an MSc in Data Science at the University of Bath, she joined Rightmove in 2019 as a Statistical Analyst, supporting estate agents, lenders, surveyors, and investors in understanding the housing market. In 2022, she became the first member of Rightmove’s newly formed AI squads, helping to lay the foundations for the company’s ML and AI capabilities. The team has since grown to ten and continues to expand as AI becomes an integral part of innovation at Rightmove.
