500 Startups Latest Batch of 31 Startups Spans Full Spectrum of Tech
500 Startups this week unveiled its latest batch.
While 500 Startups has historically given each cohort a theme or focus to hone in on, this batch of 31 companies spans a decidedly wide spectrum, from virtual reality and financial technology to healthcare and drones.
Startups in this batch include Avision Robotics, an air traffic control solution for commercial drones; RealAtom, a marketplace for commercial real estate loans; and VR Motion Corp, a virtual reality startup operating in the transportation marketplace.
Like traditional accelerators, 500 Startups cohorts end with Demo Days, which are one-day events where potential investors take a close look at each startup for consideration.
