A Founder’s Open Thank You Letter to Early Adopters and Life Givers

It’s no secret: startups are hard. Indeed there is nothing easy about them.

By no means is this a complaint; this is what I consider a privilege. Eventually, the hustle, tireless working and effort does yield early growth and success. Our early growth and success are because of our early adopters. Without you, we would have no skin in the game—so sincerely from the top and bottom of my heart, thank you.

Thank you for believing in our company when you didn’t really know the name or the product. Thank you for working with us while we built a better and stronger product. Thank you for your feedback and understanding throughout the process, growth and changes of Picatic.

I can not begin to tell you how indebted we are to you, not only for the feedback and encouragement but also for letting us know where we needed to step it up. Thank you for going out of your way to invest in the entrepreneurial startup spirit. Thank you for being our customers and advocates.

The reality is that products during the early stages typically are lean. And by lean I mean, “it’s got some holes” (and that is still an understatement.). Looking back at our first versions of our product I cringe a happy cringe. I have appreciation for the hard work and growth accomplished by our team but the real lifesavers are the users who followed us through, the sometimes frustrating roller coaster ride of developing a startup. Thank you for your continued support to ride this ride with is.

Evolution and growth of our product only come to fruition through user feedback and our ability to make fast iterations. Thanks to our users who made product suggestions, we are now open and available to multiple markets around the world. Those users also helped us create what is shaping up to be a phenomenal product each and everyday. Because of you, we have a customer rating satisfaction of 9.7 out of 10 as likely to recommend our product to friends and family. We are at a point where we create a lot of value and success for our users and we are really proud of that.

There is still a lot of work to be done and we are not there yet. There is nothing more we want than to please users and provide them that “wow” experience. Thanks you to all users; with you, a lot of hard work and a bit of good fortune we will develop into a household name.

Our commitment is to you, our loyal users. We promise to continue our development, work hard, succeed, learn fast from our failures, pivot when needed, wake up to do it all over again to serve you better and never take the fact that you gave us life for granted.

Life givers are the early users who help bring startup dreams and products to life by simply using us and providing us the gift of feedback. On behalf of the Picatic team, and I think majority of founders out there, we thank you.

Grateful,

Jay Parmar
