Arianna Huffington to Lead Independent Investigation into Claims of Sexual Harassment at Uber
Following a very serious and public claim of sexual harassment, Uber has launched an investigation into its own internal conduct—but since the company’s HR team is allegedly delinquent, a second, “independent” investigation will also be carried out.
The independent investigation was approved by Uber CEO Travis Kalanick. It will be led by Arianna Huffington, who sits on the company’s board of directors. She announced this via Twitter.
Just talked w/ Travis & as a representative of Uber’s Board I will work w/Liane to conduct a full independent investigation starting now 1/2

Former Uber engineer Susan Fowler this meek drew major attention for her report that there is a company-wide culture of male managers harassing lower-ranked female workers and getting away with it because of their “high performance.”
