Canadian Entrepreneur Jason Bailey Rebrands Latest Startup and Locks Down Cofounders

Last week Vancouver’s Jason Bailey was nominated for the Gaming Insiders 30 (GI30) list along with A Thinking Ape’s Kenshi Arasaki.

Bailey’s Eastside Games is a “proudly independent and profitable” game studio that creates humorous and addicting games for mobile and social platforms including the award winning Pot Farm and Dragon Up.

But Bailey has been in the news for another startup recently. Earlier this summer Bailey’s l33dr.ly won the International Startup Festival Pitch Contest in Montreal and was a finalist during the GROW Conference Smackdown in Vancouver.

According to Bailey the oddly named startup is a players engagement platform which allows end users to better understand, play, achieve and excel at any game.

It has now been rebranded to LDRLY.com and the founding team including CCO Parker Busswood and CTO Jeff Day has been “locked down” and are “super stoked.” They’re also hiring two engineers and a designer in Vancouver.

Bailey is now in focused on funding (which he knows a bit about) and is promising a free hoodie to the first five investors in his current round.

Stay tuned to see if Bailey’s magic touch can take LDRLY to the top of the startup leaderoards.
