If you’ve got IT projects at your company that you think would be a great experience for eager technology students, BCIT wants to hear from you.
The BCIT Computing Industry Sponsored Student Project (ISSP) Program is looking for computing and IT projects that will offer a challenging and constructive learning opportunity for their students. It’s an excellent opportunity to evaluate potential employees while getting cost-effective development assistance.
Potential projects for students can be from any of the following areas:
- Data communication and inter-networking
- Database design and development
- Technical programming
- Network security and administration
- Systems integration
- Website design and management
- Computer games development
Companies interested in taking on a BCIT student must pay $450 per project per term in administrative fees. Students will put in approximately 400 hours of work per term for your project.
For more information or to submit a project, visit the ISSP Program homepage. The deadline to submit a project for the term beginning January 2011 is December 10th.
