BlackBerry and Samsung are Building a ‘Spy-Proof’ Tablet for German Government
BlackBerry is working with Samsung to build a “spy-proof” tablet for the German government.
BlackBerry’s encryption technology, Secusmart, will be used to toughen a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 integrated with Knox, the latter company’s own security product. The device will be used by German government agencies dealing with classified information.
“Security is one of the top priorities for our government customers,” said David Kleidermacher, Chief Security Officer at BlackBerry. “BlackBerry believes that security should be an enabler of productivity and collaboration in both the public and private sector.”
